• "Lady Mariana?" Scott called from the doorway as he entered the Clan's Hall. "Lady Mariana-" He jumped and turned sharply when he felt a tap on the back. "Oh, you were behind me," He muttered with a smile and bowed in greeting. "I am sorry to bother you but this is important," He pulled out an envelope and waved it in front of her face, "The Council wishes for the presence of Lady Mariana within the Council walls." He handed it over.
• Mariana took it cautiously, she proceeded to her chair, where she sat and pulled out the letter of invitation, and began to read. "What's this about?" She asked after reading and Scott exhaled as he got closer to her.
• "I heard rumors that since Caleb has chosen his Mate's Pack over his Clan, a new Clan Leader should be appointed, and I heard the Council has been making selections for the role." He explained.
