Chapter 29

Shannon’s POV
"I wanna do so many wild and wicked things to you tonight, book girl," Tristan's words made my stomach churn with a mix of excitement and worry. I was caught in a dilemma, wondering why he was here with me, dancing amidst all these people. I thought last Friday's incident was supposed to be the end of everything. But then, he got close to me in his study room on Tuesday. The tension was palpable, something might have happened if Marie hadn't interrupted us to inform him about the doctor's arrival. And now, here we are, openly dancing among the other students, with him whispering sinful words into my ear.
Suddenly, he turned me around to face him, his hands still on my waist, and we stopped dancing. "I want us to get out of here," he said, this time loud enough for only my ears. "People are watching us," I whispered back, not sure why I did. It felt like I was getting involved in something bad with someone bad. Maybe that's the honest truth about this whole situation. I'm not naive enough to not know what this bad boy in front of me is talking about. I wanted it too, I mean, who could resist someone like him? He has a way of convincing people, making them say or do what he wants.
