Chapter 47 Picking Up The Pieces
- The interrogating room was musty and dark, safe for the light that was dangling directly above Lucas’ head. His mind was in a maze, trying to gather his thoughts and understand the situation he was in, his wrists hurting from the handcuffs.
- Two detectives barged into the room. Detective Morris rudely throw a hard back black file on the table, and Lucas reacted to the sound. His heart pounded in his chest but he tried his best to maintain composure.
- “Mr Anderson, you probably don’t understand the situation you’re in so I’m going to take time to make you understand the situation,” detective Morris said as he sat in front of Lucas angry.
