• I shut my eyes as I took mom’s hands back. Then I looked at her hands, bringing one up to my lips as I kissed it. I want to tell mom that I could take care of her too but talking about it would feel as if it won’t happen anymore. So, I kept them in myself, thinking showing it rather than speaking about it would be a better way to prove just that to her.
