Chapter 40

• Augustus came out of the study and looked for Lisa, but he didn’t see her anywhere. He then noticed the door of the balcony was opened. He walked in that way and saw Lisa standing there. He then stepped forward and hugged her from behind.
• “Do you like it?” He asked while resting his head on her shoulder.
• Lisa’s body stiffened. She didn’t say anything. His warmth was comforting on her body but it was also too uneasy for her at that moment.
