Chapter 30

• Lisa went back to her home, feeling disheartened. She wanted to make this Christmas the best day of her life, but it turned out to be the worst day of her life.
• She took off her clothes and went straight to the bathroom to shower. She was very much exhausted. The warm water calmed her down but she still kept crying while thinking of Augustus and his harsh words.
• She kept crying until her eyes got dried. After shower, she lied down on her bed with Tom’s shirt wrapped around her. But still her heart couldn’t feel at ease. After a long time, she finally fell asleep.
