Chapter 10 That Witch

• "Food's ready!" Kara called from downstairs after setting the table. Fortunately for Philip, he had just taken his headphones off when she yelled, so he heard her.
• He removed the headphones from his neck and trudged out of his room, his feet dragging as he made his way to the dining table. After eating, he planned to sleep and get ready for his second day at school.
• He reached the table, pulled out a chair, and sat down, brushing his hair back with his hand.
