• Ember's POV
• My eyes slowly fluttered open and landed on the ceiling. For a moment I did nothing but just stare dumbly at the ceiling absentmindedly, enjoying the peace and silence that came with being alone.
• It's been a day since we came back from the beach resort and I've had a lot of time to think and decide what it is I want for the kids and I. Truth to be told, right from the very beginning I already knew what I wanted. I just needed the courage to go for it.
