• Violet's POV
• "I have to stay away from Lucian, he is trouble. He is the attention I don't want for myself. He is the stress I don't want to add to my life". These were the chants repeating in my head even after I sat in his car and let him take me to wherever.
• We arrived at a shopping mall, and he swerved into the parking lot. I got put out of the car once he stopped it. The faster we get this done, the better. Because I have to be away from him.
