• Lucian urged me to the exit without a word. I couldn't even decipher his thoughts due to how poker his face was. He barely glanced at me as we walked out of the club, under several pairs of eyes.
• I looked back to see Allen right behind us, Mira in his arms with her hands hooked around his neck. He had bundled her in his overcoat and didn't bother to give her another look as he walked out of the club right behind us.
