• Isabelle had to admit that though she wanted to turn down Luke’s offer and wanted to escape him, she felt giddy now because he was being thoughtful and sweet. He took hold of her hand when they were in the car. He placed it on his thigh and she just let him. He could do such things but not making love to her all the way. It’s really too soon. She had gone through a lot of roller coaster of emotions since they met in Sta. Teresita . And she had been telling herself that she would not give in easily this time. Her hot hubby needed to have forbearance if he wanted her back and maybe he would value her more. It was good that she had developed her tigress side. Luke had realized that she refused to be the underdog. Marriage was a teamwork. Before she completely gave herself to him again, many things had to change not only in his attitude but some things in their relationship too. She was keeping her fingers crossed that once they started again, they would be able to overcome anything together.
• Luke on the other hand was extremely relieved that his wife seemed to have forgotten the incident last night which was a good sign. He had to cancel a business trip just to be with her for a few days because this out-of-town trip was a great opportunity for him to be alone with her. He even asked his bodyguard to take some days off. He was hoping that she also felt the same way. He was dying to have a normal husband and wife relationship with her. His desire for her hadn't waned, it increased. But it was not just all about sex . He had a certain feeling for her now which he hadn’t felt before. It became deeper when she left him.
• They have been travelling for more than two hours and the conversation was light. Isabelle finally decided not to dwell on what happened last night. They would call a truce.
