• 'But on one condition' Alyssa added immediately as the smirk on Adrian face disappeared immediately turning into a frown.
• Adrian turned slowly facing Alyssa with his hands folded across his chest and eye brows raised up in a questioning manner.
• 'I help you with your contract marriage and you give me the secretary job' Alyssa closed the gap between them smirking at Adrian who stared back at her with a deep frown on his face.
• 'And why should i give that to an high school graduate like you?' Adrian leaned his face closer staring at Alyssa who gulped down saliva drooling at Adrian.
• His viking gold curly hair was jelled backward giving Alyssa a perfect view of his handsome face, his bristly eye brows were knitted together in deep frown, his cold emerald eyes pierced icily into Alyssa brown eyes stealing her breath away, he pinched the bridge of his straight hawkish nose reluctant about granting Alyssa request, he twitched his soft alluring lips to the side thinking about the request.
• Adrian cleared his throat gently jolting Alyssa out of her thought; Alyssa laughed nervously scratching the back of her neck embarrassed at the thought that he caught her drooling at him.
• 'You can officially resume tomorrow' his deep masculine snapped at her walking out of the tea shop with his two hands in his suit pocket.
• 'Handsome brat' Alyssa smiled dumbly staring at Adrian brood figure walking out of the tea shop.
• Sophie face broke into a smile as she ran to hug Alyssa choking her with the hug.
• 'Sophie am choking' Alyssa voice came out as a whisper as Sophie hugged her more tightly.
• 'Alyssa thank you for saving my shop' Sophie sobbed quietly making Alyssa chuckle.
• "What are friends for? Alyssa whispered back patting her back gently.
• Sophie unlocked from the hug slowly wiping her tears with her handkerchief.
• 'The taxi driver' Sophie gasped ransacking her purse.
• 'I paid him already' Alyssa laughed quietly at Sophie who sighed in relief.
• "Alyssa are you sure about getting married to Adrian?" Sophie asked with concern laced in her voice.
• 'Two can play this game' Alyssa winked mischievously at Sophie who looked at her with a confused face.
• 'Lets's go partyyyy!' Alyssa squealed in excitement throwing her hands in the air as Sophie joined her and they both ran out of the tea shop screaming in excitement attracting the stares of passers by.

• Alyssa snuggled the pillow closer enjoying her peaceful morning sleep.
• 'Alyssa it is 9'0 clock' Sophie, loud voice echoed from the kitchen.
• 'Leave me alone' Alyssa murmured drowsily slipping the duvet over her head and drifted back into her dreamland.
• The splash of water jolted her back to reality as she jumped out of her soaked bed glaring hard at Sophie.
• 'What was that for?' Alyssa yelled looking at her drenched body.
• 'It is 9'0 clock' Sophie exclaimed pointing at the wall clock.
• 'So? What do you expect from a jobless lady like me' Alyssa hissed picking her pillow to continue her sleep somewhere else.
• 'I thought you were employed yesterday by Adrian' Sophie wondered aloud.
• Alyssa freezes on the spot, her eyes bulging out as the pillow fell of her hand.
• 'Fuck!!!!! Am late' Alyssa screamed rushing into the bathroom.
• Sophie shakes her head staring at her friend who frustration has made her think like a cockroach.

• Adrian paced his office room to and fro angrily, breathing heavily.
• 'I think you should....' Adrian shut George up with a glare.
• He sat down drumming his fingers on his desk closing his eyes gently to think.
• Alyssa checked her reflection and then smiled at herself before entering the company. Her heels clicked gently on the marble floor as the employees stared at her gossiping among themselves.
• Ignoring them she walked to Charlotte desk who ignored her presence typing furiously on her keyboard.
• 'Hello, am here to see Mr Adrian' Alyssa, said smiling at Charlotte who snubbed her.
• 'Hello am here to see...' Alyssa, raised her voice a little higher thinking Charlotte didn't hear her the first time.
• 'I heard am not deaf' Charlotte cut her off rudely hissing.
• 'Follow me' She snapped at Alyssa and started walking quickly but Alyssa quickly caught up with making funny faces at her back.
• They got to the top floor with no one saying anything to each other. Charlotte knocked the door and entered when she heard 'Come in.'
• She came out throwing murderous glare at her while Alyssa gave a wide smile.
• 'I'm watching you' She threatened harshly.
• 'You can go in' She muttered lowly smiling like nothing happened and walked away.
• Alyssa knocked gently and came in when she heard permission to come in.
• She walked in and met with Adrian harsh glare.
• 'A company of sadist' She muttered under her breath and composed herself smiling not to be intimidated by his face.
• 'Why are you late?' Adrian bossy voice echoed.
• 'Sorry i slept off' Alyssa apologized with a bow.
• 'Then i should cancel the appointment' Adrian scoffed.
• 'And then we cancel the marriage contract' Alyssa said without thinking twice.
• Silence engulfed the air as both of them glared at themselves. George, cleared his throat to ease the tension in the room.
• 'Threatening me with the contract?' Adrian hoarse voice echoed clutching his fist tightly till his knuckles started turning white.
• 'Yes husband' Alyssa grinned sitting comfortably on the chair.
• George eyes widened as he stared at the lady who dare to confront Adrian.
• 'I give you my blessings to marry my friend'
• George whispered to Alyssa, they both giggled childishly mocking Adrian.
• 'Your office is the one beside me' Adrian pointed at a transparent office.
• 'So i will be saying this arrogant cockroach every time' Alyssa muttered under her breath.
• 'What did you say?' Adrian asked raising his eyebrows.
• 'Nothing. I said the office is beautiful' Alyssa said quickly laughing nervously.
• Adrian eyed suspiciously and dismissed so she could start the day's work.
• Alyssa turned and walked briskly swearing angrily under her breath, she was about to open the door when Adrian voice stopped her.
• 'Get ready, we meet my parents after work' Adrian said and focused on his laptop.
