• Elizabeth’s POV
• ‘He has requested that you meet him in Sir Richard's private chambers. We're here to get you prepared to see your husband.' They said and I could hear a scorn from one of them. I ignored her because she knew nothing about my plans.
• They bathed and scrubbed me well and dressed me in the finest purple gown I had laid eyes on. I looked terrific when they were done with the light makeup, which did nothing but complement my beautiful face.
