Chapter 12

• He finally finished cleaning the hotel room by a few minutes past twelve in the afternoon and decided to go get some things he might need from the store house where his properties were being kept, he had packed the whole thing up in a hurry as they hadn't been any warning before the emergency evacuation from his old place, his rent wasn't even due yet, he had paid two years advance and had only lived in the house for three months before he had to leave, of course, he asked for a refund, but till now, the owner was still making up excuses as to why he hasn't gotten it yet, one of which is the house will be ready in no time, which wasn't true as he had spent a whole month waiting for the apartment to be fixed, if he hadn't met Katrina who had then offered to help him, he would probably have lived in this hotel for longer than three months, he plans on suing the man if by the end of six months he doesn't get a refund as he has no plans of going back to the apartment.
• It took longer than he expected to get asses to what he wanted because it was a weekend, he finally was able to assess them after almost an hour, he took just what he needed and loaded it at the back of the truck which he had hired to help him move, he went back to the hotel after that to check out and collect his other stuffs then he gave the truck driver a direction to Jordan's apartment, thankfully he knew where he lived because he has taken him there before while working as a taxi driver and also Jordan lived close to the pharmacy where he worked, which is why he had been happy when Katrina told him Jordan finally agreed because living with Jordan meant he can go earlier to work and get back home on time to sleep.
• He knew of course that Jordan didn't want him at his place and that kind of made him feel uneasy but it wasn't like he had much choice, it was either he coexists with Jordan, or keep living in the expensive hotel and end up broke and back home to his parents where they will start telling him how to leave his life again, he didn't want the latter and the former was more bearable ad he won't have to be alone with Jordan all the time, which means there would be less time for the guy to hate him.
