• Marcus’s POV
• Rufus got out of the car and opened the door. I stepped out and scanned the area before walking into the cafe, with Rufus following closely behind me. Two other bodyguards flanked me on each side. It wasn’t hard to spot her in the crowd. She was easily the most beautiful person in the room. Her blonde hair cascaded in waves down her shoulders.
• She had a mug in her hands, halfway towards her mouth when she saw me. Her eyes were the prettiest shade of blue I had ever seen. I stared intently at her as her eyes lit up, her cheeks turned red, and her full lips slowly curled into a smile. She waved at me.
