- Reid opened the door and then stopped so quickly that Brent walked into his back. “Jacinda?” He went over to the couch. “Felicity?” The blonde woman lying on the floor moved her hand over her eyes and then squinted through her fingers at him.
- Felicity was never happier to see someone. She felt Brent kneeling beside her.
- “Can I lift you to the bed?” He asked near her ear quietly.
