Chapter 60

• He didn't know what to say. He didn't know how to console her because he had seen tears lingering in the corner of his eyes. It was threatening to fall but she forced it in. Xavier saw how she was. He stood up on his feet and moved closer to her. He sat beside her and she didn't know when she hugged him. The tears she was holding in spilled out and he dropped on his suit.
• She sobbed silently. He felt nothing but pity for her. He almost shed tears when he was reminded of his wife. She also died. They had both lost someone important to them. That was what make them similar. She lost her brother because of blood cancer and he lost his wife in a car accident.
• Nessa couldn't stop crying but when she realized she had been hugging him first too long, she pulled away and wiped her tears. She stood on her feet and apologized immediately. Xavier knew what was happening. He knew what was going on in her mind. That he would get mad because she hugged him. But he would never do that.
