• A deep silence fell between the three who stood staring at each other. Lilian couldn't believe that Xavier was still around, and at the moment… she doesn't need to get him more upset.
• She turned her back instantly and left Nessa's bakery. Of all the voices Xavier raised calling back her attention, she ignored them and left them.
• Xavier thought of leaving. No! He can't just leave Vanessa in that annoying mood, that lady needs to brighten up her face.
