Chapter 36

• I drove home slowly, and unfocused, thinking about what to do. I was going down and down and down. I was getting depressed already. What if something has happened to my kids, what if they were involved in an accident and perhaps wounded, or even died. Oh God! I could feel drops of tears falling from my eyes on my cheeks, which I cleaned with the back of my hand.
• I almost got an incoming car this other time. The person was so sharp to see me just on time before driving. I could have smashed my car directly into his and the rest would have been story.
• We stopped our car by the roadside and the man got out angrily from his car and walked briskly towards me, cursing and cursing. I just wind down the window, where I was sitted. The man came around and scolded me for driving so recklessly. As soon as he saw the expression on my face and the tears surrounding it, he had no choice than to turn around and leave, murmuring as he did so.
