Chapter 2 Mr Dong Hai, Trinity Sect
- “Ah… nothing. Anyway, you are?” Feng Shaotian stopped his train of thoughts and asked.
- “I am Hui Qing." She answered, smiling beautifully. “And you are?”
- “Feng Shaotian.”
- Hui Qing examined Feng Shaotian curiously and thought. ‘He doesn't look like a native here based on the clothes he’s wearing…’
- “By the way, why are you sleeping here in the middle of the forest?” Hui Qing asked, wondering.
- “Ah that…” Feng Shaotian doesn't know how to explain it. He could only smile awkwardly while shaking his head.
- Seeing Feng Shaotian's response, Hui Qing couldn't help but giggle.
- “Um… may I ask where this place is?" Feng Shaotian asked, scratching his head. His gut feeling keeps on telling him that this is far from normal.
- ‘Huh? Did he hit his head hard on something and got amnesia? Pathetic.’
- Hui Qing waved her hand and a scroll appeared in her palm out of thin air.
- ‘Woah!’ Feng Shaotian exclaimed silently. ‘How can such a magical thing happen? Could it be that…’
- ‘I transmigrated to a parallel world?!’
- ‘The hell!’
- “Here, you will know all the things you want by enforcing some of your spiritual energy into this scroll.” Hui Qing said as she gave it to Feng Shaotian.
- Looking at how clueless the young man was, she couldn't help but shake her head and apologetically said. “I wish to help you more but my time is limited.”
- “Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.” Feng Shaotian replied, smiling happily.
- Hui Qing scanned the forest and sensed several strong energies. With concern in her face, she said, “This place is dangerous for a weak person like you. Allow me to send you off to the nearest village.”
- She then waved her hand, not waiting for Feng Shaotian's approval. Immediately afterwards, the place where Feng Shaotian was standing with Ding Bang began to distort.
- “Wait!” Feng Shaotian, who noticed the changes in his surroundings, hastily shouted. He still has many questions to ask.
- However, all of it was futile as after a short while, everything he could see was dark.
- “We'll meet again in the future, Feng Shaotian. I'm sure of it.” Hui Qing murmured, smiling faintly.
- A while later, she rode her pet and left.

- Tianjin Village
- “Chief! Chief! Where's the village Chief?” A middle aged man with tattered clothes anxiously shouted.
- Smack!
- “What are you so anxious for?” An old man holding a cane with his right hand slapped the back of the middle aged man's head.
- “Chief, it's you! I brought you good news!” The middle aged man who was slapped happily said, not angry at all.
- “Chief, Mr. Dong Hai from Trinity Sect will come to visit our village to test the aptitude of the children. It would be great if someone in our village gets selected and becomes a Trinity Sect disciple!”
- “Why didn't you tell me that sooner?” The Chief of the village berated angrily.
- “Tong Shan, gather all the children below 20 years old. All of them should be tested.”
- “It will be a great honor to have someone from our village becoming a disciple of the respected Trinity Sect.”
- “Got it Chief!” Tong Shan immediately left to gather all the children eligible to be tested.
- A few meters away from the village, a silhouette of a man and a dog silently emerged from the bushes.
- “What kind of mysteries does this world have to be able to have such freaking pets, summon items out of thin air, and also that magic.” Feng Shaotian muttered full of questions.
- That's right, the silhouette who appeared near Tianjin Village was none other than Feng Shaotian.
- “Hmm… If I'm in a parallel world, then does that mean?” With great excitement and expectation, he shouted loudly.
- “Status Window!”
- But nothing happened.
- The glimmer in his eyes and smile on his face froze before quickly vanishing.
- His face turned red from embarrassment. Thankfully, no one was there to witness his embarrassing act.
- Feng Shaotian averted his attention in the scroll, but there was one problem. He doesn't know how to operate it.
- Without any choice, he spent more than twenty minutes before it finally worked. Information unknown to him immediately flooded his mind like a vast ocean, integrating itself into his memory.
- According to the scroll that ‘Hui Qing’ gave him, this world was called Vlody Continent. A chaotic place where slaughter and killing was normal.
- In this world, strength means everything. If there's a disagreement, no nonsense is needed, fight with fist.
- ‘In short, I'm nothing but prey here. How the hell am I going to live peacefully now?’ He thought, frustrated for his bleak future.
- In this world, everyone was classified by rank and talent. The higher the talent you have, the greater your value.
- Hui Qing, the girl he met before was an S rank Magician. The red robe she wore was an indication of her identity.
- Magicians wore red robes, black for assassin, green for healer, violet for warrior, gray for blacksmith, and white for alchemist. He also found out that there are three empires and four great clans residing in this continent.
- It was the Hui empire, Tang empire, and Qin empire that was founded after the great war between demons, humans, and the four great clans.
- At that time, several hundred thousands of experts were slain like chickens, shaking the ‘Vlody’ continent's history.
- Today at present, there are only a few dozen triple S rankers known. The current empress and emperor in each nation including the nobles under them. There are also Sects and Clans who have hidden old monsters and lots of promising rankers ready to bloom.
- Just knowing this information made Feng Shaotian's blood boil. He sometimes read novels when he was bored and dreamed of becoming a strong individual.
- A dream he hid from his friends!
- “My dream of becoming a farmer wasn't a lie.” He muttered full of seriousness then added, “That's why I need strength to make it come true! And it will start from here.”
- Feng Shaotian glanced at the village in the distance and went towards it. His heart racing, thinking of the journey ahead of him. Ding Bang also followed him from behind, greatly alert.
- By the time he arrived at the village, the entrance was devoid of any people.
- The houses were run down and lacking in economy. He ventured for several minutes before finally spotting several people running towards the same direction.
- Out of curiosity, he followed after them and arrived in an open space. There, all the villagers were surrounding a small platform with excited expressions on their faces.
- Above the platform, a man in his thirties was standing still while holding a shiny crystal ball. According to the information he got from the scroll, that ball with different lights was an ‘Aptitude Scanner’ which evaluates a person's talent.
- ‘He's a D rank with a warrior talent? Compared to Hui Qing, he's just a clown.’ Feng Shaotian thought as he saw the marking on the person's robe.
- Below the platform, a group of young people was lining up with expectant eyes yearning for their turn to come.
- After some thought, Feng Shaotian also joined in. Not to admire the man on the platform but to be tested.
- There are currently fifteen young people with Feng Shaotian last in the line. Seeing that there are many young people to be tested, the man felt happy as he might find someone with good talent among the group.
- “Let's start.”
- The first to step up was a robust 18 years old young man. A worried expression plastered on his face as he walked towards the platform.
- “Don't feel nervous, young man. Believe in yourself!” Mr. Dong Hai said in encouragement.
- “Yes! Thank you very much!” The young man happily replied.
- “What's your name and age?” Mr. Dong Hai asked.
- “Tang Hao, 18 years old.”
- “Put your hand in this crystal ball.” Mr. Dong Hai instructed.
- Tang Hao put both of his hands on the semi transparent ball.
- Whoosh~
- Seconds later, the lights inside the ball become clearer violet after that, it converges and forms into letter F.
- “Tang Hao, 18 years old, F rank warrior talent.” Dong Hai said in disappointment. ‘What am I expecting from a little village like Tianjin?’
- “Next!”
- A few minutes later.
- “Tong Shen, 19 years old, F rank assassin talent!”
- “Next!”
- “Next!”
- This was the 13th time but still all of them are F rank ranging from healer, warrior, and assassin talent.
- The village chief couldn't help but sigh in helplessness. The 14th one was a girl, the chief’s adopted daughter from the city. He could still remember her crying face begging for money just to have something to eat.
- She walked straight to the platform with an anxious but resolute expression.
- “Jing Hua, 19 years old.” After introducing herself, she put her slender hands on the crystal ball.
- ‘Please give me a better aptitude, I want to help Father Chief fulfill his wish.’
- Whoosh~
- Green energy fluctuated from the surroundings, surging towards the crystal ball. The ball lit up brightly, making it hard for everyone to see.
- Hiss!
- The crowd took a deep breath of cold air from astonishment.
