• It took me an entire day in my room to realise how my life had turned into some book—a book without a happy ending.
• Zeus is my father and his wife wants me dead, not only that but Li Changying hates me and is helping Hera with her plans. Now that I thought it out loud, I felt my head spin. Lukas was missing, and I had no idea of him, which made it even worse.
• My "father" respected my wish and left me alone for an entire day. I was hopeful that I could also convince him to let me go to Lukas. There has to be a reason he bought me to his place. My heart gripped in fear as I thought about those shadows. Who might have sent them to attack us? Did Zeus do that? I should ask him.
