• A hush descended upon the room, the kind that makes the air feel thick and suffocating, as if a storm were about to break. Suddenly, the silence was broken by the shrill ring of the doorbell.
• Alex felt his heart leap into his throat because it came too suddenly, but Rosy seemed completely at ease as though she had been waiting for it. "Looks like the drama is about to begin..." Rosy quipped, and Alex, on the other hand, caught the sly smile that played on Rosy's lips.
