• Alex braced himself as he paused in front of the huge iron gate of his mother's mansion. The grandiose estate was a proof to the wealth that Alex's family owned. The wind whip around him, as though it's reflecting the turmoil that was unfolding in his life. It has been barely three months or maybe four since his confrontation with his mother over his decision to share half of his fortune with Rosy.
• That particular decision had changed their relationship completely. It has been almost four months of silence between the only known Williams —four month since he had last seen her face or step foot into her mansion.
• The only rare chance he get to see her is in his place of work, at least once every week. “I'm here to see things myself and be sure the company hasn't be sold yet...” That was always her reply. Not having a proper conversation for months seems awkward and he did not know if he still got the courage to face her as of the day he challenged her.
