• I took a guided step back the moment one of the men lounged forward to strike me with a baseball bat. This scenario looked like an epic scene out of an action movie. The hero fights the bad guys to save the heroine. I tilted my neck sideways preparing myself for the takedown.
• “Where is my wife?” I questioned throwing my fist to the second man who rushed forward. He staggered backwards and touched his nose that started bleeding. He stared at the blood on his thumb and smiled. I felt proud at the damage I had done to his nose.
