• Scarlett raised her chin and looked contemptuously at the man who was lying on his stomach. “He can’t do anything to me now. I can handle him myself. Don’t worry.” Scarlett lifted her gun and aimed it at the man, and Jim ran out with Skyler hoisted over his shoulders.
• Skyler was afraid for his sister’s safety and kept shouting her name. “You think you can walk out from here?” The man put on a wicked smile. Scarlett stepped forward and kicked him in the face. She stepped on his wrist with one foot. “A remote bomb control? I thought you had some new tricks!”
• “Listen, I know David Morris caused you and your family great miseries. But that’s just none of my fucking business. We don’t have any connections with that bastard anymore! What did you do this for? Money?”
