• The statement that Toma received a call from his mother was untrue. He promptly returned to the city where his school is located, although he had no intention of spending his days at the dorm.
• When he knocked on the door, it took a moment before it swung open, revealing Noru's surprised expression upon seeing Toma standing there again. "Oh my, you look like you've had a rough time," Noru remarked, skipping the usual pleasantries.
• "Mind if I crash here for a few days?" Toma walked into Noru's apartment without waiting for an invitation.
