• The tension between Celia and Alexander had been building for days, an invisible thread pulling them closer only to snap back every time they neared a breaking point. Celia couldn't stand it anymore. She was tired of the games, tired of the cold distance he’d put between them, and most of all, tired of pretending she didn’t care.
