• I stood still watching them, my heart shattered into a million pieces, they were oblivious of my presence and, their moans, and yearning filled the whole of Robert's office,
• I held onto the door as my legs wobbled, tears blurred my vision and I fought hard not to breakdown in tears, I sniffled back the muffle of tears and finally found my voice
• "Robert…." I called
• He immediately let go of the lady, while the unknown girl tries to cover up her nudity
• "And you're….?" Robert asks buckling his belt as he tries to wear his pants properly
• "Sweetheart, who's she?" The lady asked as she stood beside Robert throwing dangerous glares at me
• I couldn't utter a single word, I was lost staring at Rober, He's changed in so many ways, he's now more masculine and crazily handsome, only if he could take one second of his time and see just how much I love him
• "Rose please excuse us," He said to the lady
• "But Robert……" The lady made to argue
• "Rose please I promise we will talk later"
• "Alright," She replied and kiss him on the lips,
• She glared at me dangerously bumping her shoulders with mine
• "He's mine…." She whispered to me and smirked before storming out
• "Marissa….." He called sounding unsure,
• My heart throbbed at the sound of him calling my name, the sound of his voice sends shivers down my spine,
• The only voice my body language recognizes
• "I thought you'd forgotten me by now" I muttered trying to force a smile on my face and forget about the scene that happened earlier
• "I didn't forget you Rissa"
• "Ohhh…" I smiled as he called me like he used to…
• "Why are you here?" He asked like he don't want me around, I sighed
• "Aren't you happy to see me after a long time"
• He tuck his hands in his pants pocket and walked toward me, he stood two meters away from me
• My heart palpitates as his minty cologne covered my nose
• "Do I need to be happy?" He asked coldly
• "Ahhhhh……Robert that's not what I meant"
• "Fucking go straight to the point Marrisa I'm a busy man"
• "Okay…" I muttered fiddling with my fingers,
• "I….your parents want us to get married"
• "Yes…." He muttered
• "So what's your opinion," I ask looking at him with hopeful heart
• "Look Rissa I know you had a crush on me for a long time, but trust me I feel nothing for you and never will…" He said to my face like its nothing
• "Listen, Robert, we can make this work and I promise to be the best wife ever," I said in a pleading voice
• I watch him smirk, he walked towards his office window and turned his back on me, his hands still tucked in his pants pocket
• "Are you that desperate?" He asked turning toward me
• "No…no…Robert, how could you even say that?"
• "Because you walked in here and saw me with a woman and yet you still don't understand"
• My head shake as reality hits me so hard, I thought my father said he doesn't have a girlfriend
• "What….what are you talking about?" I asked in a cracked voice tears threatening to fall from my eyes
• "It's simple I don't want to get married to you Marrisa Bonifacio and you better not force me or else…"
• "Is she your girlfriend?" I asked holding my breath,
• "Do I have to answer you?"
• "Yes….please let me know" I pleaded finally letting out all my tears
• "Well she's not my girlfriend, I signed a deal with her company and till the deal is finalized, I owe her something"
• "Do you love her….?"
• "Yes……I do" He said to me not caring about my feelings
• "Robert please don't do this to me"
• "Stop trying, you're not my type and can never be"
• I wiped my tears and said courageously
• "What's your type of woman, please tell me and I promise to do everything in my power to be that woman"
• "You can never be her Rissa, I can't even stand your presence, stop trying hard"
• "Just give me a chance to be that woman please… "
• "What makes you think you can be my woman?"
• "Robert, I love you I will do everything to make you happy, I will also support you in every single way, just give me the chance to….please"
• "Alright I need you to do something for me then"
• My face brightened up immediately, as I smiled,
• "Alright, anything just mentions it and it's done already, "
• He huffs and started walking toward me, he stopped just before me and bend to my height staring right into my eyes, with his face so dangerously closed
• I blushed and made to look away but he held onto my face in a right grip
• "Robert, what are you doing?" I winced in pain
• "Telling you exactly what I want you to do"
• "Okay tell me," I said in between pain
• "I want you to take your sick self and get the hell out of my life," He said in anger pushing me away
• "Ahhhhh…" I winced in pain as my back hit the wall hard
• I checked my knuckles to see my right hand is bleeding
• "I'm sorry Robert but I won't disappoint your parents, I love you and that love will be enough for the both of us"
• "Then get ready, because I will make my house a living nightmare for you" He gritted out
• "I will make sure you fall in love with me" I muttered daring him
• "I will like to see you try miss Bonifacio"
• "We shall see" I muttered and left his office
• I walk out of his office in pain, I couldn't walk but I managed to get out of the company, I was walking to the car when suddenly someone blocked my way,
• I look up to see it's the lady from Robert's office, Rose
• "What is it?" I ask trying to walk but she kept on blocking the way
• "I know you're the freak that wants to take my man"
• I huff, folding my two hands under my boobs
• "You mean your partner in sex"
• "How dare you?" She said raising her hand to slap me but I caught halfway
• "Don't you dare raise your hands on me ever again" I warned and throw her hand backward while she started on her steps
• "We shall see, mark my words Roberts loves me and you remain nothing to him even after your marriage"
• "That should be my worry, not yours" I replied and walked past her
