Chapter 2 Bad Sight

• The driver that drove me from the rail station saw me coming out of the mansion
• "Going anywhere ma?" He asked immediately he saw me
• "Yes, can you please drive me to Declan Empire?''
• "Sure mam, come on" He muttered and rush to my fathers Bentley, he opened the car door for me
• "Thank you" I smile and entered, he closed the car door and entered the driver's seat, he ignited the car back to life and drove out of the mansion
• My thought wander off to Robert,
• Will he be excited to see me?
• What if he gets angry at me?
• I never dated anyone while in London, and that's because no guys can replace Robert, I don't know what he did to me to love him so damn much,
• He's like the air I breathe, God I can't withstand rejection from him
• "How can you love someone so much even after so many years?" My conscience asked,
• I sighed knowing I don't have an answer to that
• "I don't know I just find myself falling so hard for him every single day, and even when I traveled, I watched him on TVs and that only gives peace to my heart, "
• "Good luck then" My conscience wished, me, I smile crossing my heart
• As kids I love him, as teenagers I still loved him, and now as adults, God finally smiled on me by giving me this wonderful opportunity
• But why hasn't Robert contacted me yet? I'm sure his parents must have told him about me
• "What if he doesn't want to get married to me?" I thought as my eyes widened
• "Don't be too negative, fill your heart with positive thoughts" My conscience said to me
• "I'm sorry Robert but you're mine," I said to myself, well I have never been so clingy and possessive of someone before, but this is not ordinary someone, because he's my crush and I gotta do what I gotta do to keep him even if it means me hurting myself,
• The driver drove into the Declans empire, and I marveled at the beauty and luxurious look of the company
• The driver parks the car in the Que since many cars are lined up, I look at the environment, and trust me when I say the Declans are swimming in wealth
• "Wait for me here," I said to the driver who nodded his head, while I start walking into the company,
• I walk majestically, flipping my hair by the side as my beautiful view are all in display
• Don't misquote me, I'm not too pompous, but I like it when I draw people's attention, it has always been a habit since childhood.
• I catwalk towards the receptionist,
• "Excuse me dear good day" I greeted with a nice smile on my face
• "Afternoon welcome to Declan's Empire please, how can we help you?" She asks with the same smile and damn! she's beautiful, I walk closer to her table and brought my mouth close to her ears and then I whisper"You're beautiful"
• "You too," She replied blushing. I smile at her facial expression she sure does not know about her cheeks which have turned red
• I look around the whole place and she looks at her laptop
• "Are you here to see someone?" She asked and turned her attention back to me.
• I cleared my throat and look around the whole place to see everyone so busy
• "Is it like the Ceo of the Empire is cold? Why is everyone so focused like this?" I ask?
• She smile and covered her mouth, she looked around like she's searching for someone before she whispered
• ''Our boss is a cute young man but his cold nature is turning him into an old man "
• "Ahhh….that's bad" I whispered back covering my mouth, and she nodded her head dramatically with raised eyebrows, we burst out laughing
• But when the workers around stared at us awkwardly
• "Shhh…." I hushed her, giving her a body language sign with my raised eyebrows and she did a zip-up sign with her hand
• "I need to see the boss, can you direct me to his office?" I pouted
• "Of course, go straight take the left elevator, and stop at the last floor you were his office" She explained
• "Thanks " I smiled
• "You're welcome" She replied
• Suddenly my heart started pounding in my heart as many thoughts clouded my mind,
• I prayed inwardly for Robert to acknowledge our marriage, I prayed for him not to be in love with someone else, I don't know what I would do to myself if that ever happens,
• I entered the elevator and press the red button, and it closed,
• I held onto my chest tightly praying silently for everything to go well
• The elevator finally stopped and I came out
• I stood in front of the door and took a deep breath, my palms suddenly became sweaty as my breath quickened, but I stood and I calmed myself down. I fan myself and when I'm sure I'm ready.
• I knocked on the door but got no response. I knocked again and when I held the doorknob I found out it was open without wasting time. I pulled the doorknob and entered, only to meet the most shocking scene of my life.
• A girl was half naked while Robert fuck her on the table
