• I stare into Thad’s stormy eyes while trying to determine what it is that he is thinking. Since arriving at the airport, it has been clear that something is off. He simply wasn’t his normal easy-going self, and despite knowing it really wasn’t any of my business, I couldn’t help but want to know what was tormenting him.
• “You’re way too trusting,” he finally sighs as Mr. Rogers appears, his phone clasped to his ear. “Don’t you know that can get you killed?”
