• Ace knew better than to tell his concerned neighbor about the whole situation. He didn’t know who she really was or if she was part of a test. He had being told to expect a test.
• Laurel was kind but he doesn’t know if she was acting clueless or was part of the whole charade. After all he had seen her with these two men beside her. She could be his sister, girlfriend or wife for all he cared.
• Test or not, he knew he has passed with the way Laurel greedily gulped all his lies about delivery.
