• My eyes widened in fear of what Jerome did to me back in the past which I no longer have memory of. The way he spoke seemed like he was able to experience considerably a lot of things together with me. “W-what are you trying to say?” I asked in such a soft voice. I saw how the scar on my palm was slowly fading away. Its pain was kind of bearable, but it still stings.
• “The texture of your blood tells me that you’re not just a mere human and not just a mere werewolf. Could it be that the rumor during your debut was true — that you share the blood of a vampire?” Jerome replied while wiping off the excess blood on his lips.
