Chapter 2

• A new day was beginning, the sun's rays infiltrated the room as Genesis opened her eyes and noticed the tall figure sitting on the small sofa in the room. Genesis was startled. She quickly sat up in bed, not understanding what was happening. In the two months that had passed, she had not encountered her husband. But one evening she saw him, they had sex at night, and in the morning she found the man watching her while she slept in her room.
• "Genesis," Leandro spoke, but the girl was still stunned by her husband's presence and not paying attention to his words. "I'm talking to you," Leandro whispered.
• "What's going on?" the woman reacted, but it was too late. The man had positioned himself above her, the bed sank. Genesis was wearing a very light nightgown and tried to push Leandro away, but any attempt by the woman was in vain. Her strength was no match for Leandro's.
• "I figured you were already suspecting," Leandro opened Genesis's nightgown. The woman had already given up and simply let the man take her body.
• Leandro quickly undressed with agility. Genesis swallowed nervously, propping herself up on her elbows, her collarbone visible. Leandro's cold hands caressed her soft skin.
• When they were both naked, Genesis was afraid. She didn't know what to expect from the man with a look of a hungry lion for his prey. The fragrance of the petite woman was exquisite. Genesis let out a small cry when she felt Leandro's tongue make contact with her feminine cavity. She immediately brought her hand to the man's head, but felt a shiver run through her body as he pushed with his tongue.
• She was very confused, not understanding what was happening. She was fearful, but at the same time her body began to react.
• "Please stop," she murmured, but her voice sounded more like a plea. Leandro let out a growl, gripping her waist with one hand while Genesis gripped the sheet. When her whole body began to shake, Leandro moved away and, without measuring the force of impact, forcefully entered her with his member. The pain was less intense than the night before, but there was still discomfort. Nevertheless, they were married and she couldn't refuse.
• The man's hands rested on her neck as Leandro continued to penetrate the girl forcefully. She opened her eyes, squeezed her legs, and began to moan. Their bodies were sweaty until Leandro increased the speed of his thrusts. An hour later, after two bodies entwined completely in bed, it was all over. Genesis was confused, her small body had small bite marks. She watched as Leandro buttoned up his shirt, observing him in silence until he lowered his head and saw his body covered only by the blanket.
• "Don't think too much, it's just sex," Leandro said as he left the room, as if he hadn't unleashed the knot of passion in his body just minutes before.
• "When did we get to this point?" the woman wondered, looking at her naked body, the disheveled sheets, and most importantly, was she a substitute for her sister entirely? Did her husband think of her sister when he had sex with her? The petite woman let out a sigh, not wanting things to spiral out of control. She needed to talk to someone, so she showered, took a pain reliever, went downstairs to have breakfast, called a taxi a few minutes later, and went to her best friend's apartment.
• It was still early when Genesis arrived at Ana Linares's apartment.
• "What are you doing here so early? Did your husband kick you out already?" The redhead was surprised to see the blonde standing at her door at 8 in the morning with a not-so-good expression.
• "Ana, I have to tell you something, I have committed a sin and I can't tell my mother, I don't have the courage to do it, I will definitely disappoint her."
• "If you haven't killed anyone, if you're not stealing, it's not a sin, first you greet." Ana grabbed her hands, leading Genesis into the apartment.
• "The thing is, last night Leandro and I had sex." Genesis clasped her hands, her feet tapping the floor, she was nervous and embarrassed to talk about that, but Ana just smiled, not even flinching at her friend's words.
• "And what sin are you talking about?" Ana shook her head. "Let me tell you that there is nothing wrong with that, you are married, it is the most logical thing that can happen between you, but now what I don't understand is how did you get to that? Because it turns out that you don't even talk, the guy doesn't even notice you at home, the day you got married the documents were taken to his office, even though you went to get them I think he didn't even look at you, I remember you didn't even see him often when he was your brother-in-law, and now it turns out that you even have sex, but it's also understandable that you want him, your husband is the most desired man in Spain."
• "Ana, I don't even know what happened, I remember his mother had arrived, in fact Mrs. Manuela did not like me at all, but Leandro defended me from her and that night what you know happened."
• "Don't be stupid Genesis, you will only have as an anecdote the fact that you slept with none other than Leandro Betancourt, it's every girl's dream."

• "I still don't know what happened to her, Ana, I remind you that Gisele just disappeared and that caused my dad's heart, I'm reminding you that Gisele if something happened to my sister? Besides, she loves Leandro, that I know for sure, Gisele adores Leandro."
• "Look Genesis, we haven't talked about that because I thought it would never be necessary, but your sister was always your father's favorite, she may have discovered something that caused your father's heart attack, something he thought the princess wouldn't do, he doesn't try to defend her, there is definitely something else that neither you nor I know yet, it's not our business, Leandro is your husband."
• "And it could be that she found out that my sister was in danger, then it's logical that dad couldn't bear that."
• "Or maybe your sister disappointed him, Genesis " Ana poured herself a cup of coffee.
• "She wouldn't be capable of deceiving dad, I'm afraid something happened to my sister and I'm taking her place, but now there's something else, she's back."
• "What?" Ana was completely surprised. "Are you kidding me?"
• "I'm telling you Gisele is back, she has already returned, I have to talk to her, maybe there is something very important she needs to tell me so we can fix this situation."
• "Maybe it didn't work out with the lover, that definitely happened." Ana said nonchalantly.
• "Stop saying that Ana, I'm telling you my sister." Genesis was ready to defend her sister no matter what.
• "You're going to spit up and it's going to fall on your face." Ana mocked. "What are you going to tell her? Gisele, in your absence I slept with Leandro, he made love to me in a way that."
• "Shut up Ana, clearly I won't tell her that way, because I feel very bad about doing that."
• "Genesis, did you think about your sister when he took every part of your body, when he sank deeper into you, when he found his release with you in his arms?"
• Genesis remained silent, listening to Ana's words, and of course she couldn't deny it. The question from her friend made her feel ashamed.
• "You see Genesis, you didn't think about her, and according to all laws you are Leandro's wife and it's not a sin for a couple to have sex. Now come with me to have breakfast, because you are the only one who had dinner and breakfast with a man you desire completely." Ana smiled, and a few minutes later both young people had headed to a restaurant, knowing that Ana was not a fan of cooking.
• When they arrived at the restaurant, Ana had ordered too much food.
• "Do you think you're going to eat all of that? " Genesis asked, looking at her friend's plate.
• "Don't be rude, you know that food is glorious. By the way, Genesis, you told me your mother-in-law came, what did the elegant viper say to you?" Ana took a bite while Genesis sighed.
• "She, of course, did not hide her dislike towards me. She hates me and accuses me of stealing fiancés." Genesis made a face.
• "And did your knight defend you as you told me?" Ana's voice was full of emotion. "Besides, you are not a fiancé thief, you are Genesis, the bravest girl I know."
• "Did your fortune rise from your good jokes? You should join the circus, Ana."
• "My father was good at making jokes, I inherited that." the redhead replied proudly.
• "Don't make me laugh." the atmosphere between the two young people was pleasant. They had started together in the education field since they were 5 years old, and now at 22, their friendship was stronger than ever. They were very different, Genesis was quiet and didn't share much, while Ana enjoyed her youth.
• "We should go out tonight." Ana said excitedly.
• "You know me, I don't like going out, Ana, I hate going out." Genesis made a face.
• "It's a charity dinner for the Orphanage to which you always donate your painting collections. You can showcase one of your works tonight in a more professional way."
• "I can't do it, I don't want to disappoint my dad now that he has woken up again. I don't want to upset him, and he never liked me being involved in that aspect, so for now, I'll be obedient."
• "It's all about what others think, but what about what you want, what about your dreams, Genesis? You made the decision to marry so that your family doesn't lose its heritage because we all know that your husband is the backbone of the company. You consolidate through Leandro, if he cuts ties with your family, his companies disappear. But that's not a sin, many companies do it, but you do it for your family, for companies that have nothing to do with you. You sacrificed yourself because I know perfectly well that you don't get any benefit. You never bought a dress with your father's money, your mother always gave you money, and it was the money from the maternal family. The Sousa family probably doesn't even remember that you exist, Genesis."
• Listening to what Ana said made Genesis lower her head. Her friend was right, her father had never let her spend his money. In fact, when she entered the Painting Academy, her father had labeled her as a failure for the family and was ashamed to be her father.
• "Little Genesis, if I tell you this, it's so that you open your eyes, put yourself first, stop thinking that someone wouldn't do such a thing, that you are making a mistake when everything is right. Come with me tonight, be yourself, Genesis." Ana placed her hand over her friend's.
• The blue-eyed blonde sighed, but before she could respond, her gaze caught the couple who were arriving at the restaurant at that precise moment.
