Chapter 120 Prelim Two

• The sergeant got up from his seat and went into the witness box. Before giving his testimony, he placed his hand on the bible that was brought to him by the court clerk and said, "I swear by Almighty God that the evidence I shall give shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
• I got a call from Miss. Belov at about 11pm on the said day. She said she had been brutally assaulted and needed help. I quickly arrived at the hotel in the company of a few other officers and with the help of the hotel management, I got into the room.
• Miss. Belov had fallen unconscious when we arrived, she had bruises on her body and her clothes had been completely torn. We quickly rushed her to the hospital and she was revived. I spoke with the doctor and he confirmed that she had indeed been sexually assaulted. Her medical results are here with me and will be submitted at the end of my testimony.
