- The late afternoon sun angled through the windows in long strips, warming the office in a way that made it hard to be annoyed about the clutter. Outside, the vineyard buzzed with quiet movement—boxes being shifted, doors swinging open, footsteps crunching over gravel. Inside, Sophie was halfway vibrating with energy.
- “Rosie, seriously—look at this!” she said, practically shoving the tablet into her sister’s hands. “Our downloads this week? Up by two hundred percent. We’re ranked ninth in the ‘Wine & Wit’ podcast charts. Ninth. Global.”
