Chapter 7

  • I had my men dressed as the Rodriguez family, strategically placing bombs throughout the area.
  • "Where is Liam?" I asked one of my men at the airport.
  • "He's currently at a club," he responded.
  • That bastard is busy enjoying himself after stealing my drugs.
  • "Everyone, move now," I ordered.
  • I quickly got into my car and drove a few meters away from the Rodriguez house.
  • I dialed Liam's number and waited for him to pick up.
  • "Long time no see, buddy," I said into the phone.
  • "DAMIEN!" he groaned angrily.
  • "Aha, aha, is that how you greet an old friend?" I smirked.
  • "While you were busy enjoying yourself, I paid you a visit. I must say, you have a really nice room, but unfortunately, it will be reduced to ashes by the time you get there." Just as I finished speaking, a loud explosion was heard, causing a massive fire. I smiled in satisfaction.
  • "Damien, I will fucking kill you. Aiden, let's go," he hung up before I could say anything.
  • No one knew that Liam and I used to be best friends until he betrayed me. But that's a story for another day.
  • I drove straight to my house. Liam won't give the drugs back, and Father will be furious if he finds out they're missing. Liam is actually very stupid, but if he's the same Liam I used to know, he'll likely keep them in a stupid place that no one would think of.
  • "Geez, I can't think of anywhere stupid."
  • The last time I tried to read his mind, the idiot was thinking about a girl he slept with and how he planned to try a new technique with her.
  • Wait a minute! The park!
  • Liam and I used to go there.
  • Yes, it will definitely be in the park. I checked the time, 11:15.
  • I hurriedly grabbed my car keys and headed to the park.
  • ********************************
  • I continued my search for a secret door or passage, growing increasingly frustrated as the minutes ticked by. After thirty minutes of fruitless searching, I let out a frustrated yell and sank to the ground, feeling defeated.
  • Just as I was about to give up hope, a voice broke through the silence.
  • "Looking for this?" it taunted. I looked up to see Liam, holding the drugs I
  • had been searching for.
  • I couldn't help but feel a mix of annoyance and surprise.
  • “Damien, a mafia Lord, known for his cunning and ruthlessness, yet here he is on the ground like a child”. Aiden, his loyal companion, smirked at my reaction.
  • "Seems like you've been searching for quite some time," Aiden commented, his tone dripping with amusement. "And where's your loyal
  • slave, Max?"
  • I stared at them, momentarily speechless. I hadn't expected to encounter them here, and I certainly didn't expect them to mock me. As the leader of a powerful mafia, I should have been delegating tasks to my guards, not crawling around on the floor like a child.
  • Realising that I was outnumbered, I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of the situation.
  • "Well, it looks like it's two against one,". Liam said. "But let's see what tricks I have up my sleeve."
  • With those words, Liam transformed into a wolf, ready to attack.
  • “You forget, Liam," I declared, my voice dripping with icy disdain. "I am an ancient vampire, older than time itself. Even Lucifer himself bows at my feet."
  • My power surged through me, propelling me to rise from my seat and loom over Liam. Fury blazed in my eyes as I unleashed my words.
  • "Dagon, Sathanas," I called out, invoking the names of my demons.
  • "Now it is three against two," my demons echoed, their voices resonating with a sinister tone.
  • Aiden recoiled in fear, his confidence waning.
  • Dagon and Sathanas, my loyal demons, existed as ethereal shadows, invisible to the ordinary human eye. They were my constant companions, always ready to assist me in my endeavours.
  • However, it was Abaddon, the ultimate embodiment of destruction, who held the most power among them. I summoned him only in the direst of circumstances, for once he was unleashed, no force could stand in his way.
  • My demon burst into laughter.
  • "Seriously, Damien? Did you really summon us to fight cockroaches?" Dagon exclaimed.
  • One thing that annoys me about them is their disobedience and playfulness. They never leave when their task is completed.
  • "Dagon, Sathanas, deal with the wolves. I'll search for the drugs," I commanded.
  • "Why don't we search for the drugs and you handle them?" Sathanas suggested.
  • "He's just too lazy, always expecting us to do his work."
  • I sighed and swiftly entered the door.
  • “Come on, Liam, you really need to put in more effort. Even a baby could outperform you," Dagon remarked, securing Liam in his wolf form.
  • "If the alpha is struggling, I can't imagine what the beta will be like," they both chuckled.
  • "And where is that hot headed vukodlak?" Dagon inquired.
  • "Show some respect, Dagon. I am still your master," I said, asserting out.
  • "Our task here is complete, let's move on”. I added.
  • "Hey, untie me!" Liam shouted.

  • [ CRYSTAL'S POV]
  • I arrived at the club and went about my usual routine, collecting my earnings for the night. As I made my way through the dressing room corridor, I spotted Grace. Grace wasn't as well-known as some of the other strippers, and she rarely received requests from customers. Nevertheless, she greeted me with a smile.
  • "Hey Jae," she said. Grace was quite tall, with average-sized breasts and buttocks. Her red lips were striking. Tall, yet undeniably beautiful.
  • "What's up, Grace?" I responded, returning her smile.
  • "The hot guy is up." she said, winking at me.
  • "Surprised? I heard about him from Megan. Wow, he's incredibly attractive. I would definitely be interested in him," she remarked.
  • If you didn't know Grace, you might mistake her for a promiscuous person, but trust me, she's not. She's just very playful and open-minded. She didn't mind discussing sexual topics in front of a crowd.
  • "I know," I chuckled.
  • "Rose is such a terrible person. I heard about what she did too. If I were you, I would have given her a piece of my mind," Grace commented.
  • "I have to go. Sorry, I'm really tired," I excused myself from the dressing room.
  • I didn't want to discuss Damien. I didn't want to think about him, especially since he didn't show up yesterday.
  • He probably found someone new. What an asshole.
  • **************************************
  • The next day was just like any other, filled with serving annoying and rude customers. I kept glancing at the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of Damien. I finished my shift at the eatery late, so I decided to head to the club.
  • [IN THE DRESSING ROOM]
  • I was in the dressing room, changing my outfit when Rose walked in.
  • "Hey there, Jae," she pronounced my name in a mocking way.
  • I rolled my eyes. "What do you want?" I asked, rummaging through my closet for clothes. I chose a black skirt that barely covered my thighs and a tight black top that accentuated my waist.
  • "Wearing black tonight?" she asked, watching me put on my top.
  • "It's not your concern, Rosemary," I smirked.
  • I knew she hated being called Rosemary.
  • "You know, ever since you served that hot guy, he hasn't come back. Were you that bad at performing? Well, I told Angel I'll be the one to serve him next time he's here," she winked.
  • I scoffed, applying lipstick. "So you think he'll leave bouncing boobs for a saggy one?" I laughed, smearing the lipstick on her chest. "Be careful how they touch your boobs, it's already smudging," I added and walked away.
  • I made my way to Angel's office. "Hi Angel, what's my zone today?" I asked.
  • "VIP," she replied, and I nodded.
  • I walked among men who gave me dirty looks. I simply ignored them and continued walking. As I entered the room, I hoped it would be Damien, until I heard someone say,
  • "MATE"
