• There was something unsettling about Vivian. And when she mentioned that she was a daughter of a Beta, it reminded me of the reason why I almost ended my life before. However, I couldn’t just shut her out completely. She desperately looked at me, asking for help. When I took a closer look at her, her skin was bruised, her clothes tattered and torn.
