Chapter 37
- The grand dining hall buzzed with voices and clinking silverware as Ariana sat at the table, surrounded by the pack. Ariana recognized the beta, Luna Scarlet, and a tall, dark-haired man who earlier introduced himself as the alpha's right-hand man, Marcus. The other two were a petite blonde named Sophia and a muscular brunet named Jack.
- Scarlet shot a venomous look at Ariana, and Ariana could feel Scarlet's gaze on her, a malicious glint in her eyes. She was the alpha's favorite, and Ariana's presence threatened her position. She couldn't help but wonder why.
- She knew that every Luna would fight to keep her position, but as a stranger to the pack, she believed there was no way she would ever displace Scarlet. Her insecurities were therefore irrelevant.
