• Ariana stood before Ethan, feeling more than conflicted. She barely slept the previous night, the memories of what transpired between her and Liam disturbing her greatly.
• But what bothered her the most was Ethan's reaction and his decision to punish Liam and her sister. She knew him to be a very temperamental person, and his punishment might not be lenient.
• In as much as Mia and Liam had treated her terribly in the past, she didn't want Ethan to hurt them. But how could she tell him that? How could she explain that despite all their cruelty, she didn't want to hurt them? How could she explain naivety to Ethan?
