• “Patrick told me they were going to be back last night,” Leona said, pouting, as she leaned on the kitchen island, patting Tatiana lightly while I helped make tomato sauce.
• “Okay.” Oh, I wanted to say Good for Callum, that stupid, motherfucking cheat. I had warned myself last night that I wasn't supposed to care. This is not me, behaving this way. I was glad I wasn’t sulking because I felt pained; I felt stupid, used, and angry that he had even let her take his phone in the first place and had allowed her to take pictures and sent to me. Did he think I had grown so close to him that I would get jealous?
