• "Is everything fine, Mrs. Ophelia?" Gale called from outside the restroom door when he heard a sudden sound. "Mrs. Ophelia," he called again, but got no response, and he suspected something was off. "Mrs. Ophelia," he repeated, knocking on the door again but still getting no reply. "I’ll come in if you don’t answer."
• He waited a few seconds before slamming his large body into the door twice, forcing it open.
