Damon tried waking her up but she wouldn't bulge. He tried shaking her hands off but they grasped tightly onto his neck.
"Shoot me! Girl are you a witch?" He fumed. What the hell was she doing sleeping on his body.
"Get off me, I need to go! I didn't bring you here so you can't sleep on my body" Damon fumed.
She wouldn't even bulge. How come a tiny body like hers feels so heavy and hard to pull away. What kind of strength does she possess?
He doesn't even know her and he certainly wouldn't be taking her to his house because he doesn't trust strangers. She might be a set up or a trap set by his enemies and he wouldn't fall for that even though she doesn't look dangerous.
"Hey! Hey drunk girl wake-up. I need to go" he shook her again and this time, she mumbled something but he couldn't make out what she said.
"Hey drunk girl what are you saying? Get off me" Damon muttered. At this point, he just wanted her off him. He needed to go home. He has had enough and needs some rest.
"Drunk girl!" He called again, this time louder as he shook her.
"I don't have anywhere to go..." her voice came out tearfully.
"What do you mean you have no where to go huh?" Damon asked but got no reply.
"Hey! Drunk girl. Still no reply. Damon humphed loudly, it looked like she'd stucked to him like glue. He settled her bills and tried shaking her again but when she started making sleep sounds, he lifted her onto his shoulders and carried her out of the club.
Damon opened the back door of his car, laid her down and drove off. He would dump her drunk ass at any available hotel and leave.
He found a hotel very close to the club and drove in. Taking the girl in his arms. he walked into the hotel. Few people were sitting at the reception and they expressed shock on seeing him.
"Antonio Damon Sinn, carrying a girl on his arms in a hotel?" A lady announced loudly on seeing him—drawing the attention of others who didn't notice him earlier.
The people brought out their phones to capture him but Damon shot them a deadly stare. They knew better than take any pictures.
"Any available room?" Damon asked the receptionist. His eyes were beginning to hurt. He had been struggling to keep them wide open so no one would notice he doesn't see clearly without contact lenses.
Every face in the reception looked blurred and he had to pretend he sees them.
He managed to drive there because it was nearby and he wouldn't be able to drive back home.
His eyes were strained and his visions were getting affected already. If he continues forcing his eyes to open, he might go blind for few days or weeks and he can't let that happen to him.
"Damn drunk woman!" He cursed— finding his way to the elevator.
Getting into the room, Antonio Damon Sinn laid the sleeping lady on the bed, his hands massaged his eyes, squeezing them tightly and releasing. He hope his eyes would not go worse.
Seeing she had settled well, he turned to go but was suddenly dragged by his suit pants. He staggered and lost his footings. H fell right on top of her.
"Where do you think you are going big man?" Her eyes squinted as she pouts. "Are you going to her?" Her voice cracked. She tightened her hands around his neck.
"What are you doing lady? I have to go" Damon tried getting her hands away but just as he had been trying and failing, he failed once again.
"No, I won't let you go to her. You are mi...mine..." She drawled, her tongue swiped across his ear which sent a wave of sensation down his spine.
Damon knew he had to get away from her else he would do something he would regret. She's making him feel things he stopped feeling long ago, waking his buried demon and he doesn't want to harm her.
Using two of his hands, he managed to get her hands off his neck but just when he was about climbing off the bed, she toggled and he fell back. She landed on his chest.
"He doesn't want me... I think I'm too ugly for him" She sniffed and began crying.
"He doesn't deserve you if you makes you cry alright? Forget about him. Men like that are losers" Damon tried comforting her. He had to get her to leave him alone so he would leave the damn room. It was already getting too hot for him to handle.
"No, I think it's because I am not beautiful. Maybe because she's more beautiful than I am. Her voice shook"
"Do you think I am beautiful? I know you don't think so. You might be wanting to get away from me because of my ugliness" she sniffed back tears.
He wished he knew, he wished he was able to see her face. If only he doesn't have Prosopagnosia and her face wasn't so blurred.
"You see? you're not saying anything..." She frowned. "Even you do not find me beautiful"
"You are beautiful, Very beautiful the way you are. I haven't seen anyone as beautiful as you are. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise" he said.
He wasn't trying to make her feel better. He felt she's extremely beautiful and he wasn't lying when he said he hadn't met anyone like her because no one has ever made him feel things the way she did and that, without even trying hard.
"If you say I am beautiful then kiss me" she pouted her lips. Damon's eyes dilated.
"I can't do that" you should rest now. You had a lot to drink and you won't be well tomorrow morning if you don't get enough rest now" Damon tried pulling her off him but again, she wouldn't bulge.
She continued pouting her lips, sticking out her tongue while she damands for a kiss.
He kissed her cheek. She refused and kept pointing at her mouth. "I can't do that, I'm sorry. I don't go around kissing people I don't know" Damon replied.
But you kissed me back then at the club. You think I don't know you kissed me?" She laughed, her teeth sparkling under the bulb.
"That's different. It was an accident and not intentional. You fell and your lips touched mine. It wasn't a kiss" Damon explained.
"Hmm, but we touched lips. That is still a kiss. Do you know your mouth has electricity? When you kissed me, you mouth shocked me" She laughed. "I have never kissed before, this is my first time."
Damon sighed, not knowing what to say. She wasn't making any sense to him. First kiss and electricity, haha!
"Can you get off me?" I have to go home" He mumbled.
"Don't go please. I don't have anywhere to go. Her eyes began watering.
"You don't need to go anywhere, you'll sleep here then tomorrow you will go" Damon tried explaining.
"No! Don't go" she wailed as she tightened her arms on his waist. Her head laid on his check. She held him so tight not giving him any room to leave.
Damon decided to keep quiet. He would move her whenever she falls asleep. There was no need telling her to get up when she wouldn't.
Minutes later, he started hearing her soft breath. Her breath was as calm as the ocean wave that he couldn't help but drown in it and also fall asleep.
The next day...
Squinting her eyes, Ria found herself lying on top a hard surface. Thinking it was her brother's back, she reached to pinch his neck as she normally does.
Her hand grazed a lip more softer than Sam's, Ria opened her eyes fully and glanced down to have a proper look. Lo and behold it was a man and the man wasn't Sam.
"Man? What am I doing on top this man? Who is this man?" Ria questioned herself. Confusion splattered all over her face.
Maybe he kidnapped her. She concluded as her heart skipped a beat.
She was about to hit him when the memories of what happened the previous night resurfaced.
Ria's face flushed with embarrassment as she remembered how she practically begged him to kiss her.
Slowly and gently, Ria got herself off him. She tiptoed to the bathroom, stared into the mirror and her face was looking dead.
"She washed her face and packed her hair. She came back into the room, luckily the man was still sleeping.
She stared at his face, admiring God's creation. He doesn't in anyway look like a simple man. His Cologne filled her nostrils. He smelt like power and affluence...
His sleeping face, so calm and peaceful. She hasn't seen a man as beautiful as him. Every feature on his face was well detailed and pretty. If not for his flat chest, one might mistake him for a lady with abs.
Ria swallowed hard, her bag wasn't in the room which meant it was still at the clubhouse.
Tiptoing, Ria made her way to the door after grabbing her purse but stopped on sighting the pen on the table. Opening the drawer, she searched for a piece of paper and found one.
"Thank you and I'm sorry for the troubles I put you through" Ria scribbled down and dropped the paper on the table before heading out of the room.
Thirty minutes later Damon woke up to find the room empty. He climbed off the bed, his eyes darting to the bathroom.
Maybe she's in there. He took off his shirt and stared out of the window. He sighed on recurring the incident last night.
His eyes went back to the bathroom some minutes later. He hasn't heard any voice from there. Damon stood up to go check but saw the paper on the table.
He picked up the paper and peered at it then dawned on him. She had left. Just like that? She couldn't even tell him thank you at his face after everything she put him through. She just ran away.
Too bad he couldn't see her face last night. He was hoping to see her the face that troubled him so much in the morning but then, she had disappeared like some dust.
It's day time and his eyesight has improved. Even though he can't still see faces properly, it wouldn't be as severe as night.
Damon folded the paper into his pocket and walked into the bathroom. He splashed water on his face and stared into the mirror.
This would be the last time he would ever leave his house without his contact lenses. Listening to Chase was a bad idea and he regretted it.
His phone vibrated in his pocket. Dipping his hand, he brought out his phone and peered at the screen.
"Man, where the hell are you? I can't believe you bolted off after all I pleaded with you, what did you do?" Chase nagged immediately Damon picked up.
Damon wasn't in the mood for him. He was the one who left him and disappeared by the way.
"Chase come to Sapphire suite, I'm waiting. Don't come with your car." Damon uttered and ended the call before his friend would start with his cross questions.
Chase's cross questions should happen later. Damon wasn't in the mood for that at the moment.
He just wants to go home, take a cool shower and rest. A lot happened and he needed the rest.
