- I stood up, a bit too fast my head banging on the edge of the fireplace and I turned around glaring at Daniel who looked way too smug leaning against the wall, his signature pose, one leg lifted at a ninety-degree angle to rest on the wall.
- "Do you mind?" I said, I was just trying to stir the logs in the fire.
