• The night after Ravyn’s warning, Mira barely slept.
• Her dreams were a haze of heat and shadows, Cassian’s voice threading through them like smoke. She saw flashes a hand closing over hers, the glint of silver rings on long fingers, his lips moving like he was saying her name, but no sound reaching her.
