Chapter 69

• Isabelle sat down in her room in Lucifer's house and then brought out her phone to call Freda. She was a bit nervous about how it would work out at the end. She was still trying to get the news that Freda was Lucifer's sister, she could barely wrap her head around it. She wanted Lucifer to know though. She wanted him to know that Freda was his sister. It would be so nice for him to have family around him, and to grow around them. It would make Lucifer happier.
• "Hello," Freda said as she picked up the call.
• "Hello Freda, it is Isabelle. Are you feeling better now?" Isabelle asked the woman that had become her friend. She remembered how shaken she had been when she saw the picture and how sad she had been when she told the story of her brother. Isabelle wanted everything to go right for Freda's sake too.
