Chapter 14

• "Your place is nice, I'm impressed. Still got the same sponsor. I see" Anne commented while looking around and Isabelle hissed under her breath. Anne was no saint but she was looking for ways to piss off Isabelle and she wasn't going to give her that satisfaction, at least not let her feel like she was getting through, she was successfully getting under her skin.
• "Can you cut the chase, I have the stuff to do instead of listening to you whine around my room. We both know you aren't here to admire my place so save us both the stress." Isabelle said, earning an eye roll from Anne. She was enjoying the way she was making her uncomfortable and she thought Isabelle would be more concerned about her being in her space but the other woman seemed not to really give a fuck about why she was here.
• Isabelle hated the woman standing before her with everything in her, she was part of the terrible mistakes Isabelle made as a teenager, and she had always wanted to erase that part of her life away. It's not possible to erase them but she had to live with them for the rest of her life. Anne was a chapter, a deadly one that she wants to wipe out.
