• I paused at the sound of Elena's voice, resting my forehead against Talia's bedroom door. Exhaling, I closed my eyes. Who was I kidding with here? The only reason I came here was because I knew this was where she'd be, and not because I wanted to speak with my cousin. I needed an excuse to see her.
