Chapter 21 Drama Queen

• Marcus POV
• Sun rays slipped into the room through the slightly parted curtains and fell directly on my face. I sizzled and stirred from the bed. I glanced at the bedside clock and it was a few minutes after seven in the morning.
• I yawned and sighed, I had worked late in the night and went to bed at midnight. I wanted to clear up any pending work and emails because I didn't want anything that would interrupt my dinner date with Myra. I took off my sleeping mask and wore my flip-flops that lay on the floor beside the bed and made my way to the bathroom, I took a quick brush and came out of the bathroom, I decided to call my secretary and notify her that I would be late to the office but I can't seem to find my phone, I made my way downstairs to the lounge just maybe I left it there last night.
