• “I’ll be there. Get out!” She didn’t hesitate; the look my father gave her was enough to scare demons. “You’re not even married, and she already has you acting like her puppy. You run when she calls? Seriously, son, I raised you better. You’re the mafia king, for crying out loud. You’re a killer, an assassin, a king.”
