• They didn’t leave the apartment for over twenty-four hours. Ellis had barely touched solid ground before Asher had her naked and moaning, pinned against his front door, then again against the wall, then again bent over the kitchen counter. It was a miracle she had any strength left by the time they finally showered and dressed the next afternoon.
• “Think we’ll survive lunch with the others?” she teased as she adjusted her top.
